“Resilience: Enhancing Emotional Well-being in the Workplace”

Threat assessment can be a tireless job and without appropriate self-care, one that can lead to burnout or compassion fatigue. Resilience has been increasingly shown to improve overall wellbeing, reduce burnout and contribute to personal sustainability. And research now shows that it can be learned. This program will review the subject of resilience and offer strategies for making small steps to integrate resilience building techniques into one’s life, given the responsibilities of the threat assessment professional.
