Join the Dean of Students Advisory Board!

Want to be more involved, share your input, and help shape the student experience? The Dean of Students (DOS) Advisory Board provides insight on items, issues, and concerns regarding students at the University of Iowa. The board's advice along with the role of DOS and Division of Student Life administration, staff, and students will influence the vision, mission, programs, communications, and support and services provided. You can be a part of the decision-making process, gain valuable leadership skills, and participate in shaping the student experience at the University of Iowa.

Students interested will assist in planning events, participating in networking and engagement opportunities, and discuss action steps and solutions regarding concerns and matters students face. Student Advisory Board meetings will be held on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7:00pm once per month.

The selection process occurs in September for the next academic year. More information will be posted here as it becomes available.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa-sponsored events or programs. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact the Office of the Dean of Students at 319-335-1162.
